Why structure matters
Suppliers quote fastest when they do not have to guess. A well scoped RFP cuts the back and forth from days to hours and gives you offers you can compare like for like.

Tips for faster quotes
- Give a real budget range. "Open" gets ignored.
- Pick one Incoterm. Do not ask suppliers to quote all four.
- State your deadline as an arrival date, not an order date.
- List compliance up front. Do not surface it after quotes arrive.
